As a counselor in high schools for 25 years, I had the ability to work closely with thousands of adolescents. One of my most memorable experiences was to talk to a young man, who had made a serious poor decision, but then apologized and worked to correct his mistake. In the face of opposition from some of his peers, he chose the right path. I told him that the true measure of a man was not in the mistakes that he made, but how he handled those mistakes. And, in my opinion, he was going to make a good man.
This series is based on men, good men, who are not perfect. But, like all good men, they work to handle mistakes they make. It is the Measure of a Man…these men who are Heroes At Heart.
Loosely based on Fairy Tales.
