Best intentions…then life happens!

So, to begin my tale, let me say that in May, I revamped my website and was committed to continuing weekly newsletters.

Then my husband and I got a call that a house in a community in Williamsburg, Virginia, was available (we’d been told it might take several years). We had a major decision to make.

Let me pause to add the “why” behind this decision. As many of you know, I live in Cape Charles, VA, on the Eastern Shore. Yes… I live in my fictional town of Baytown. We had been coming here for 9 years before building a house  to live in full-time.

We had always planned to move to Williamsburg eventually, but we’ve only been here for 4 years. But between major illnesses, major surgeries, and health care being an hour away, plus wanting to be closer to family, we decided that now was the time to move.

In mid-June, we began the flurry of visits to get the new house ready  and this house ready to sell and pack. The result? Our new house is getting ready, our current house has sold, and we are drowning in packing boxes! And we have discovered that, even though we have moved many times in our lives, it gets harder as we get older! Between poor memory, physical limitations, and just plain tiredness… we are worn out!

And what about Maryann Jordan? I had to race to get my “work-in-progress” ready for editors, get Jack’s Legacy to and from the proofer and make sure my marketing team had what they needed.

Unfortunately, my newsletters fell by the wayside. And so did my blogging!

So, I’m thrilled to announce, I’m back! At least to share with you  my excitement over my new release, Jack’s Legacy! It will go wide for 3 days (July 28, 29, 30), and on July 31, it will be sold only on Amazon and in Kindle Unlimited (KU). You do not want to miss out on my new Baytown Series about the ones who grew up on the shore, left, then came back, only to find love along the way!

So, sit back, grab a book and a cup of… whatever you like to drink, and enjoy. Fall in love with a Maryann Jordan book today!

Happy Reading! Maryann
